Exploring Codeswitching Occurrences in an Online English Language Learning in a State College, Philippines

This study aimed to explore the code-switching in online English Language Learning (ELL) Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges. The researchers formulated two main questions this study: (1) What types of are used by students Online (ELL)? (2) effects on language learning an ELL setting? To answer research questions, utilized a qualitative design. observed and recorded Zoom classes five sections Bachelor Arts Studies said College for data collection. Research ethics was properly process gathering. Additionally, interviewed from each class triangulate results. Moreover, content thematic analyses analyze collected transcribed audio interviews. Furthermore, findings showed that among three Poplack (1980) has categorized. most prevalent type switching mostly use is tag switching; Second, intra-sentential code-switching; Then, inter-sentential code-switching. results also explained various perceptions about employment their classes. paper presents code-switching's positive negative students' learning.
